Talented Hungarian-born Hollywood actress Nina Dobrev is ‘beyond excited’ and she has reasons for that. A few days ago she took home the award for Favorite TV Drama Actress at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards and now she has got an official Open Water scuba diving certification.
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of enthusiasts to the amazing diving lifestyle.
The actress took a Professional Association of Diving instructors (PADI) course during her break spent on a sporting holiday. She shared this news on her Twitter page, providing as a proof a picture of her certification card.
According to Ian Somerhalder’s Twitter page, he also spent some time swimming in the ocean, which makes us think that the two were together during their vacation. Ian and Nina currently star ‘Vampire Diaries’ and are real-life couple.
Some of the well-known movies starred by Dobrev include ‘The Vampire Diaries’ (2009-), ‘Degrassi Goes Hollywood’ (2009), ‘You Got That Light’ (2009), ‘The Border’ (2 episodes, 2008), ‘Chloe’ (2009) and ‘Mookie’s Law’ (2008).
