Turn off Glacier Highway at the sign then take the first right. Just before the house at the end is a road down to the beach. You are now at the Tee Harbor launch ramp. It’s really just a section of the beach that has been cleaned up for launching skiffs. There is a lot of boat traffic in the summer so for safety reasons Tee Harbor is dove only in the winter. Tee Harbor is a mud bottom with engine blocks and other heavy items scattered around that have been put there by the locals for moorage anchors over the years. In the spring Rufus and Leonina nudibranchs show up. Though Tee Harbor isn’t a very exciting dive it has the easiest entry of all the shore dives in Juneau. Just drive down on to the beach, park, walk 20 feet and you are in the water. Even in the winter when the other sites are snowed in or to icy to walk on, a 4 wheel drive vehicle can get down to the beach at Tee Harbor and park on a ice and snow free beach.
